The Leesburg Police Citizens Support Team is dedicated to aiding, supporting, and assisting the police department of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia, in promoting public safety and preventing crime. Our team is an integral part of community policing, which focuses on bringing together police officers and the citizens of Leesburg to develop lasting solutions for public safety and crime prevention. We are a volunteer organization of law-abiding citizens who collaborate closely with the Leesburg Police Department to advance community policing objectives.
Prospective LPCST members must be:
- U.S. citizens
- Virginia residents
- 21 years of age or older
- Hold a valid Virginia operator's license
- Have a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a police background check
- Be willing to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours each month. Flexible scheduling!
